Qoves alternative
Qoves is a yearly membership: you upload six photos, and its team prepares a facial analysis and a non-surgical plan within 28 days. Face Analysis Lab measures your face on your device in seconds and sells one report for $14.99, paid once. Here is how the two compare.
Everything here about Qoves comes from its website, FAQ, terms and privacy policy, read on 14 October 2026 and listed in the sources. Prices and policies change, so check them before you pay. We make Face Analysis Lab, so weigh our side accordingly.
Who Qoves is
Qoves is run by Qoves Inc., of Wilmington, Delaware, according to its terms. It works in the browser on a phone or computer; its FAQ says there is no app at the moment. Its terms say you must be 18 or older.
What it offers
After paying, you answer a questionnaire about your demographics, lifestyle and goals, and upload six photos of your face and head from set angles, including both side profiles. Qoves says its team prepares your analysis and protocol within 28 days and reviews every analysis.
The analysis places more than 500 landmark points and measures 160+ facial markers, including skin quality, symmetry, eye shape and brow density, adjusted for your ethnicity, age, sex and lifestyle. The membership includes:
- the facial analysis and your biometric scores
- a protocol: a step-by-step, non-surgical plan for each feature
- before-and-after visualisations of the suggested changes on your face
- a letter from the team about your protocol
- messaging with its care team, which it says are real people
- a new analysis and protocol once a year
The recommendations range across skincare, hair and facial hair, makeup, colour, lifestyle, facial exercises and posture, over-the-counter products, supplements, at-home devices, in-clinic treatments and lasers, non-surgical injectables and dental work. Qoves says it doesn’t provide licensed clinical or medical services and asks you to check treatments and products with your doctor first.
On price, the FAQ says: “It’s a yearly subscription, but you can cancel anytime.” Browsing from Europe, we saw the Qoves Membership at 150€ a year, “No hidden fees. Cancel anytime.” Check the amount it shows you before paying.
What to check before paying
Where your photos go
Your six photos are uploaded through Qoves’ online portal. Its privacy policy (last updated 3 December 2025) says images and details about you are collected so its team can prepare your report, may be shared with service providers such as hosting and data analysis, and may be used to refine machine-learning algorithms. Its FAQ says photos are encrypted, only essential staff can see them, and you can request deletion from your account settings.
Renewal and cancelling
The FAQ says there are no contracts and you can cancel or pause at any time from your account settings. Whether part of a year is refunded after cancelling is not stated on its site.
Refunds and waiting time
Qoves’ terms, last updated 15 May 2026, give a full refund if you haven’t yet submitted your photos or questionnaire, for up to 90 days after purchase. Once your photos are uploaded or work on your order has started, refunds aren’t offered; you can ask the care team for changes instead. Results arrive up to 28 days after you upload.
How Face Analysis Lab differs
| Qoves | Face Analysis Lab | |
|---|---|---|
| Your photos | Six uploaded, prepared by its team | Measured on your device, never uploaded |
| Paying | Yearly membership | $14.99 once, nothing renews |
| Results | Within 28 days | Free result in seconds, report right after paying |
| Covers | Structure, skin, hair, brows and a plan | Face geometry, including the profile |
- Nothing is uploaded. The face model runs in your browser, and camera frames and photos are measured there. We never receive an image, a landmark or a score. The privacy page walks through each step.
- Results now, paid once. The free result appears in seconds. The Full Face Report is $14.99, paid once, with no account and nothing that renews.
- A published formula. Every component, weight and step from measurement to score is on the methodology page, along with what we can’t measure.
- Profile from one scan. The 30-second camera scan captures your face front-on, turned left and right, and tilted up and down. From the turns, the report measures your jaw angle, chin and nose projection and nose-to-lip angle, each with how much it varied between frames.
- Refunds and age. If the report doesn’t load or something is wrong with it, email us within 14 days for a refund (see the terms). Scanning and buying are for people aged 18 and over.
The trade-offs are real. We measure geometry only, so skin, hair and brows aren’t assessed. No person reviews your result, there are no visualisations of changes and no care team. Our advice sticks to things like grooming, hair, beard, posture and camera height, with no products, supplements or treatments. The report stays unlocked for 24 hours in the browser you paid with, and you save it as a PDF to keep it. The sample report shows exactly what you get.
Which one to pick
- Qoves fits better if you want people to prepare your analysis, a detailed non-surgical plan that covers skin, products and treatments, previews of the changes, a care team to message and a fresh analysis every year, and you’re fine uploading six photos, paying yearly and waiting up to 28 days.
- Face Analysis Lab fits better if you want a result now, don’t want your photos to leave your device, want to pay once, or want numbers you can check against a published formula. Start with the free attractiveness test, the side profile analysis or the facial ratios calculator.
- Not sure? Our free result takes about 30 seconds and costs nothing. It’s a quick look at your proportions before you commit to a yearly plan anywhere.
