Face analysis guides

What each measurement means, how it is taken and what the research says, in plain words. Every guide links to a free tool so you can measure your own face.

These guides are written from published studies and anatomy references, never from other rating sites, and each one ends with its sources. They don’t tell you what your face should look like. They explain what a term means, how it is measured, what typical values are, and what can and can’t change, so you can read your own result properly.

A good order is to read the guide, then measure: the face shape guide pairs with the face shape detector, the canthal tilt guide with the canthal tilt test, and so on. If you want to know exactly how a number is calculated, the methodology page has every formula.

Face shape and styling

What your face shape is, how it is measured, and what suits it.

Eyes

The angle, shape and lids of your eyes, and the words people use for them.

Proportions, symmetry and the jaw

How faces are measured against each other, and what the research supports.

Measure instead of guessing

Every guide has a free tool behind it. A 30-second scan on your device gives your own numbers.
